IMS Unison University, Dehradun, hosted its much-anticipated orientation program Deeksharambh 2025 under the theme Samagra – Nurture | Innovate | Serve, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the newest members of the IUU family. Designed to inspire, inform, and immerse freshers into the vibrant IMS culture, the multi-day event blended motivational sessions, industry interactions, cultural showcases, and peer networking into an unforgettable welcome.
The program opened with a warm address by Vice Chancellor Prof. Anil SubbaRao Paila, encouraging students to embrace learning with curiosity, responsibility, and purpose. Academic leaders, including Prof. Dr. Sunil Jakhoria and Prof. Vinay Rana, set the tone for the days ahead, highlighting IMS’s commitment to holistic development, industry integration, and real-world readiness.
Throughout the week, students interacted with a distinguished line-up of 50 speakers, eminent professionals, accomplished alumni, startup mentors, and thought leaders, who shared invaluable experiences from diverse fields. The orientation also featured voices from the Ramakrishna Mission, Rotaract, CII YI, and other community-driven initiatives, underlining the importance of service and social responsibility alongside academic achievement.
Beyond the inspiring talks, students enjoyed cultural performances by clubs like Sanskriti, team-building games by Sportivo, art showcases by Kalashilp, and interactive activities from Sevarth Club, adding color and camaraderie to the event.
